Clarence Ward is a responsible skydiver

E-mail Print PDF
Hi folks, I made about 25 jumps back in '88; really liked it but quit because I figured something as simple as a broken arm wouldn't be covered by insurance and I didn't have any sick leave, so the responsible me took over. Later I purchased a powered parachute (the big parachute with the 3-wheeled cart with propellor hanging below). Really liked that too but couldn't fly it in wind much over 10mph, which means not often in Oklahoma. I then built my own gyrocopter (wanted to for a long time); it can handle more wind, do more fun/radical manuevers, and I just love it.
