Indore skydiving gets off the ground

The idea has been in my mind to make skydiving happen in India for all enthusiasts for almost four years now and finally the time has come.

We are going to organize our first jumps in late September. We will have a combination of tandem and sport jumps and I’m sure someone will do camera as well. We are trying our best to create a drop zone so that jumpers as well as visitors will be part of the energy and adrenaline of skydiving.

We are planning to include jumpers from all age groups, demographics and skill levels. We can accommodate first-time jumpers as well as seasoned professionals from around the country and the world.

Who all will be there!

Professionals, Housewives, Businessmen, Kids, Army men, Students……You?

Where?

Indore will be the place to witness the skydivers as our plane lives there.

When

We are close to finalizing the exact dates, though we are pretty sure that it will be between 19th and 28th of September, 2009.

What does it take?

Skydiving is about leaping into an alien environment and doing something away from the normal paradigm. You need:

• Determination to face and overcome your fears
• Self belief
• The will to do something extraordinary
• Convincing power
• Work hard for it (”I love my job…………. coz  it pays for my skydiving”,  is what we skydivers say!!!)

Cost for skydiving

We are trying to keep this as affordable as possible. Our guess is that it will be around Rs 15,000 per tandem and Rs 2,000 per jump for sporties (Experienced skydivers who jump alone or in groups).
