I used to jump in the service but have not jumped since the 80's. I have often thought of starting to jump again but seem to never have the time.

Note from Accel;
I know exactly what you mean about shortage of time and/or less urge to take risks.
Whatever we do, its important (in my humble opinion) to seize the day and make the most of the time left to us.
As a step forward, why not go ahead and take a flight in a skydive simulator... you get the freefall experience without the risks on landing etc. Then, if you've had enough leave it there. If you want more, you can probably book up at the wind tunnel reception area. John, if you used round canopies in the service you'll be pleased to hear that almost all centers now use ram air parachutes which give much nicer landings.
