Skydiving Gadget Watch

Hi,

I don't know you but I really like those Breitling watches for pilots. Now I'm not a pilot my self so I'm not sure but I don't think they really use those watches at least as a primary instrument. Still if I was a pilot I sure would get one of those since they are really cool.

Now that I'm starting into skydiving I was quick to assume that they would had something for us, and apparently I was wrong.

After searching a lot I found a couple that could kind of fit for that purpose but not quite.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for a watch to replace the Altimeter, no way I would do that, but see it as just a gadget. I would like to hear your recommendations on what to get. There are really nice features like GPS, vertical speed, sunrise/sunset timer, logbook, altitude alarm, etc. So I have compiled a calcsheet (with Specs) with the ones I found that could be the best ones. It is not complete and you are welcome to change any of the data if you see something wrong, as well as to add any other watch.

For the time being I have found the following to be the "better fitted" for the job of skydiver-watch-gadget. Compare_Calc_Sheet_Link

  • Suunto Elementum Terra
  • Suunto X-Lander Military
  • Suunto Vector HR Black
  • Suunto Core (All Black)
  • Suunto X10 Military
  • Casio PATHFINDER PAW5000
  • Casio PATHFINDER PAW2000
  • Timex E-ALTIMETER
  • Timex WS4
